Frequently Asked Questions
Where are you located?
I am based in West Palm Beach, Florida, and provide flexible therapy options for adults across the state. I offer a hybrid model with virtual sessions and a limited number of in-person appointments. Most clients choose virtual sessions, which can be attended from the comfort and privacy of your home or office.
How does online therapy work?

Online therapy works much like in-person sessions, but we meet through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. After you schedule an appointment, you will receive a private link to join your session. You can connect using your phone, tablet, or laptop, whichever is most comfortable and convenient for you.
Many clients find that virtual therapy helps them feel more at ease and makes it easier to stay consistent with sessions.
What issues do you specialize in?

I specialize in helping adults navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, and burnout with care and depth. Many of the individuals I work with are medical professionals, artists, and caregivers who have spent years supporting others while quietly carrying their own pain. Some appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or exhausted internally.
My practice offers a compassionate space for long-term, in-depth therapy to explore emotional patterns, process past experiences, and move toward meaningful healing.
What type of therapy do you offer?

My approach is trauma-informed and grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and relational insight. I tailor therapy to each person’s needs, creating a safe, non-judgmental space.
In addition to my core trauma-informed approach, I have received training in Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and grief therapy. I have also completed specialized trainings on gaslighting and narcissistic abuse, along with intensive training in interventions and behavior modification for autism spectrum disorder.
What are your hours?

I offer weekday appointments during regular business hours, with limited availability for early morning and evening sessions. Weekend appointments may be available upon request for self-pay clients. If you have specific scheduling needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I'm happy to explore options that work for you.
Insurance Plans Accepted
I am in-network with the following insurance providers: Blue Cross Blue Shield, Anthem, Florida Blue, Tricare, Medicare, Cigna, Optum, UnitedHealthcare and Aetna.
I offer self-pay options and can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits and coverage.
Feel free to reach out with any questions about using insurance or self-pay.
What are your rates?

Self-pay rate is $277 per 53-minute session. I also offer extended sessions upon request. Please reach out for details. If you may be eligible, you can apply for a sliding scale. Spots are limited, so please reach out to discuss availability. I accept Credit Cards, Cash, Check, Health Savings Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
What is a Good Faith Estimate?

A Good Faith Estimate is a document that outlines the expected cost of your therapy services. If you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive this estimate before starting treatment.
The estimate will include the session fee, the frequency of sessions we discuss, and an overview of potential yearly costs based on your treatment plan. This is not a bill, but a way to help you understand and plan for the cost of your care.
If you have any questions about your estimate, I am happy to walk you through it.
What can I expect during my first appointment?
Your first session is a chance for us to connect and for me to begin understanding your story. We will talk about what is bringing you to therapy, your goals, and your past experiences. I will ask about your history, current stressors, and what you hope to get from our work together.
If this is your first time in therapy, please know you’re not alone—I will guide you through each step with care and patience. You are always welcome to ask questions and share how you are feeling and give feedback throughout the process.
My hope is to create a warm, safe space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported from the very start.
Before your first session, you’ll receive client intake forms through a secure online portal after you schedule your appointment. If you have any questions about these forms or anything else, please don’t hesitate to reach out—I’m here for you.
